Sigur To Cover “Castamere” For “Thrones”
Last September, Pitchfork noted that Sigur Rós would make an appearance on the fourth season of HBO’s “Game of Thrones.” It’s not just rabid fandom drawing them to the show: They’ll be covering “The Rains of Castamere” for the show’s soundtrack, as Consequence of Sound points out. In the show, it’s used when something terrible is about to happen. It’ll be available on April 13, according to Amazon.
