“Of Mice And Men”: My FT Review

The Financial Times has published my review of the Broadway revival of “Of Mice and Men,” starring James Franco and Chris O’Dowd. Bottom line: ‘On the stage, [the story] gives off a slightly dated feel. Its signature themes – the loneliness of the migrant worker, the yearning for land of one’s own – have not abated since Steinbeck’s novel was published in 1937 and its Broadway version immediately followed. But the story’s power here feels diminished.’
