Man Removed From Sydney Opera Roof

I’ve heard of dramatic sopranos (Nilsson, Flagstad) ascending the heights of Wagner, and freak-show tenors (Florez, Camarena) soaring to high Cs in bel canto. But I’ve never heard of anyone getting attention at an opera house by climbing the building itself. Until now. Yesterday, a man got onto the top of the Sydney Opera House. New South Wales’s Finest negotiated with the man, and he was escorted off the roof by two officers using safety equipment. Those policemen said the man was drunk. Yah think?
