AC/DC Guitarist Has Dementia


The family of Malcolm Young, the founding guitarist of AC/DC, has confirmed he is battling dementia. “Malcolm is suffering from dementia and the family thanks you for respecting their privacy,” the family said in a statement. Last week, when the band announced a new record, it confirmed that 61-year-old Young would not be in the lineup. The band famously lost lead its original lead singer, Bon Scott, in 1980.
