NY Times Raves About “Love And Sex”
Charles Isherwood, of the New York Times, calls Bathsheba Doran‘s new play, “The Mystery of Love and Sex,” at Lincoln Center Theater, “perfectly wonderful.” Further: “In this tender and funny exploration of the lives of two couples from two generations, Ms. Doran also probes such fertile mysteries as the fluidity of identity, our ability to keep secrets from both our family and even ourselves, and the difficulty — and the rewards — of forgiveness.” The cast includes a return to the stage of Diane Lane (pictured, with Gayle Rankin), as well as Tony Shalhoub and Mamoudou Athie.
