When Bette Davis Met Bert Lahr

Oh boy oh boy oh boy. Two years after her crowning role in “All About Eve,” Bette Davis was reduced to this kitchen-sink playlet. She and Bert Lahr perform “Jealousy,” a sketch by Billy Friedberg from the 1952 Broadway revue “Two’s Company.” (Lahr’s role was played on Broadway by David Burns.) This performance was telecast on “The Hollywood Palace” on February 20, 1965.
