Guerrero. Sunday brings the primetime Emmys, the only one of the 4 major U.S. award shows I’ve never been much interested in. Music: The wonderful Judy Collins has had the number-one CD on Amazon this week. It’s called “Strangers Again.” Books: I’m loving Brandon Stanton‘s “Humans of New York.” And Andy Weir’s “The Martian” is good prep for the upcoming movie of the same name. Sports: The New York Times has finally noticed that the Mets not the Yanks are now the cool baseball team in NYC. Just in time for the Subway Series this weekend. Finally: Hey, New Yorkers and Philadelphians: you ready for Pope gridlock? I’m not going to leave my house next week!
