Mike Nichols: An Oral History
My pal Mike Nichols, who died last November, is the subject of an oral history in Vanity Fair. Sam Kashner and Charles Maslow-Freen harvested stories from Mike’s friends, including Tom Hanks, Meryl Streep, and Cynthia O’Neal. These testimonies will have to do until Mark Harris finishes his biography of Mr. Nichols some years hence.
