Kanye Releases Message For Yasiin
Yasiin Bey, the rapper and activist known as Mos Def, made headlines last week when he was arrested in South Africa for trying to use a “world passport†to leave the country. Now, he’s released a message to fans through Kanye West, who posted an audio clip from Bey to his Twitter and website. The message opens with Bey playing on West’s recently released “No More Parties in L.A.†– he raps in a freestyle, “No more parties in S.A.†– and he says, “I committed no crime, why is this state wasting my time?†He also continues to claim a “world passport†is real and not “a fictitious document.â€
