Oscars Are White, SAG Awards Won’t Be

The Screen Actors Guild awards — an important precursor of Oscar winners — will be held on Sunday. And guess what? There will probably be at least two or three black winners. But they will all be in television, because that’s where the juicy roles are, especially for black women. Look for Queen Latifah to win for “Bessie” and Viola Davis (right) to win for “How To Get Away With Murder.” Also with a shot: Uzo Aduba (left), who won last year for “Orange is the New Black.”
