TV: Sunday-Night Scorecard

Grease Live: It was well-cast, having a live audience helped, it moved well. Director Thomas “Hamilton” Kail took a silly musical and made it exciting. Grade: A. The Good Wife: As the series approaches its end, Alicia is so depressed she’s practically catatonic. The coy, annoying investigator returned, and the episode suggested that Alicia is headed back to her old firm. Let’s just hope before everything wraps she will give a giant Nora-in-A-Doll’s-House door slam to her husband. Grade: B-. Downton Abbey: Denker was always a snake: duh. Every time I look at Mr. and Mrs. Carson, I imagine them having their own spin-off sitcom. Grade: B+.
