“Daredevil”: Vivid And Brooding
I was late catching up to the first season of Netflix‘s “Daredevil.” I was put off by what I heard was the dark, violent nature of the material. But I eventually caught up and had a great time doing so. I can’t wait to watch the second season, which streams this Friday, and which THR reviews favorably. Not only does it promise more vivid, brooding characters, but the season’s co-showrunner is my bud Marco Ramirez, whose terrific play “The Royale” is currently running at Lincoln Center Theater.
