Critics Sharpen Knives For New “Halloween”

Kidding! The picture hasn’t even been made yet! Here’s the news: John Carpenter is returning to oversee a new “Halloween” film, more than three and a half decades after introducing the iconic slasher saga, reports Variety. The film-maker and composer will executive produce the 10th sequel to 1978’s “Halloween,” which introduced mask-wearing bogeyman Michael Myers and the young Jamie Lee Curtis (pictured) as original scream queen Laurie Strode. “Thirty-eight years after the original Halloween, I’m going to help to try to make the 10th sequel the scariest of them all,” said Carpenter.
