I usually avoid posting anything about “Hamilton.” The New York Times’ ridiculously incessant coverage of this first-rate musical has cured me of any desire to add to the hype. But I couldn’t resist posting a link to this press release about the casting for the Chicago production of the show. Playing Hamilton will be an actor called Miguel Cervantes (pictured). And, yes, I know that the writer of “Don Quixote” was named Miguel de Cervantes. But close enough.
