I’m old, but I learn something new every day. Who knew that historian Martin Duberman had written the book to a Broadway musical and that it starred Peter Allen, Barry Bostwick, Nell Carter, and Richard Gere? It was called “Soon,” and it ran for three performances at the Ritz Theater in January, 1971. Why isn’t the poster on the wall at Joe Allen? Is there a cast recording?
