Thom Yorke: “Just Put It Out”

yorke_2453804bPitchfork says: ‘Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke (pictured) has said in a new interview with Benji B on BBC Radio 1 that he’s had enough of figuring out non-traditional ways to release music. Radiohead’s seventh studio album “In Rainbows” made waves with its “pay-what-you-want” release, and Yorke’s most recent solo album “Tomorrow’s Modern Boxes” was put out through peer-to-peer download company BitTorrent. When asked about the release of “Boxes,” Yorke replies, “Ugh, yeah, again… Enough of that now. I’ve entirely had enough of that… Just put it out, man. No more fuss…I’m getting too old for that bit. It takes away from things a bit, sometimes frustrating.”
