What’s New: J-Lo, Josh, Alan

J-Lo and her ex-husband Marc Anthony had a smooch session on last night’s Latin Grammys — and there was plenty of anti-Trump talk, too…Speaking of the Donald, Kanye West says he would have voted for Trump — if he had voted. (Would somebody please drop a house on Mr. West?)…The off-Broadway production of the 1989 movie “Dead Poets Society” received some tough reviews, but I still have a soft spot for all versions of it: its main character, played by Robin Williams in the film and Jason Sudeikis on stage, is called John Keating, which was the name of my grandfather…The Weeknd has dropped two new songs, including a collaboration with Daft Punk…I’m still in post-“Crown” withdrawal, but a viewing of “Sappy Songs,” a one-man cabaret show with Alan Cumming, tonight on PBS, could help ease the pain…Josh Groban was out earlier this week of “Natasha, Pierre…” on Broadway, but I suspect he was merely recovering from all the pre-opening-night stress. It’s a lovely, original show and I urge you to see it.
