Lorde Releases New Single
Today at 2 p.m. Eastern / 8 a.m. New Zealand time, Lorde will release her new single, “Green Light,†accompanied by a video, directed by Grant Singer. It follows months of speculation about her follow-up to 2013’s “Pure Heroine,” as well as a week of mysterious teasers and a new website, imwaitingforit.com. (The lyrics “I’m waiting for it” appear in the new song.) In a tweet, Lorde called the new song “complex and funny and sad and joyous and it’ll make you DANCE.”
