Liberace Movie To Become Musical?
It’s not a terrible idea: people would buy tickets just to see the costumes. But it’s also something of a come-down: no Broadway show about Liberace can ever be as grand as seeing him live at Radio City Music Hall or in Las Vegas. But that isn’t stopping a Hollywood producer from wanting to turn the HBO movie about his life — starring Michael Douglas and Matt Damon and which I found a bore — into a Broadway musical.
