Kidman Has Her Crawford Moment
Today at Cannes saw the premiere of “The Beguiled,” Sofia Coppola’s remake of a 1971 movie that starred Clint Eastwood. The reviews are mixed, but everyone agrees there is one instant-classic moment, when Nicole Kidman soars into Joan Crawford land. Joan screamed, “Get the axe!” Nicole barks, “Get the saw!”
