Your Weekend: A Selective Guide

Movies: The first reasonably well-reviewed summer blockbuster has arrived: “Wonder Woman.”…Lots of people are enjoying the re-release of the 1987 classic “Maurice.” TV/Streaming: “The Leftovers” has its finale on Sunday…I’ve been watching the new season of “House of Cards” on Netflix, but my heart isn’t in it: Frank Underwood (Kevin Spacey) and his wife, Claire (Robin Wright), are just too unbelievably evil, even by the standards of the Trump Age. Music: Three versions of “Sgt. Pepper’s” — reissued for its 50th anniversary — are at the top of the charts…I loved the Broadway production of “Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet,” with Josh Groban, but I find the cast album disappointing. Books: Conservatives will undoubtedly find Chelsea Clinton’s “She Persisted: 13 American Women Who Changed the World” a nefarious attempt to indoctrinate children with left-wing feminism.
It is! Sports: The NBA finals feature a rematch of last year’s thrilling series: the Warriors vs. the Cavs. Woo-hoo! Finally: We’ll always have Paris — not.
