Patrick From “Auntie Mame” Has Died
Roger Smith, 84, died on Sunday. He was best known for “77 Sunset Strip” but I will always remember him as Young Patrick (not Little Patrick) from the movie classic “Auntie Mame.” The handsome leading man retired from acting after being diagnosed with myasthenia gravis in 1980. After that, he managed the career of his wife, Ann-Margret, and produced several of her TV specials. The couple had celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on May 8. I always have loved them both.
