Metallica Perform “Don’t Look Back In Anger”

During their stop in Manchester last night, Metallica led the crowd in a sing-along of Oasis’ “Don’t Look Back in Anger.” Watch footage of the performance here. The song has become a de facto anthem following the suicide bombing at Ariana Grande’s Manchester Arena show in May. Coldplay and Grande teamed up to perform the song during her “One Love Manchester” benefit concert in June, while U2 and Noel Gallagher played the anthem during their Joshua Tree tour stop in London. Shortly after the tragedy, Noel and Liam Gallagher donated their royalties from the track to the Manchester fund. Metallica is set to perform at a benefit concert on November 9 to aid recovery for the recent Northern California firestorm.
