The Roots’ Black Thought has shared a new song for the upcoming Jay Z-produced documentary series “Rest in Power: The Trayvon Martin Story.†On the song, titled “Rest in Power,†Black Thought raps in stark terms about the killing of Trayvon Martin and inequality in America. The song also arrives with a music video featuring images of Trayvon, Black Lives Matter activists, Colin Kaepernick kneeling, and more.
