“The Goldfinch”? Looks Iffy

I found Donna Tartt’s novel “The Goldfinch” completely absorbing. Recently, I even thought of reading it again. The movie doesn’t look remotely as absorbing. It’s giving off the trauma-recovery vibe of “Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close.” I will probably see “The Goldfinch” eventually but I’m not running.
