Broadway Closed Through 2020

I’m not sure I’ve yet adjusted to living in New York and lacking the option of theater. But the void extends much beyond being a consumer. Theater — the performing arts, in general — are such a huge part of the city’s economy that the lack feels as if a hole had been blown through our collective fabric. The would is so gaping it is almost difficult to process. One feels dead but one isn’t dead. We can only pray that the stricken regain their health soon.
