“West” Won’t Re-Open On Broadway

I’m not surprised the Ivo van Hove production of the classic musical “West Side Story” isn’t coming back. Its main producer, Scott Rudin, was disgraced by news (to some) of abusive behavior in the workplace. And the show’s reviews weren’t ducky. Still, I thought the upcoming Spielberg movie of the material would boost awareness and help the Broadway version. We’ll never find out now.
