Misery Loves “Company” Says The Times

In the wake of Sondheim’s death it took some cojones for Jesse Green of The New York Times to issue a thumbs-down on the new Broadway revival of “Company.” (The other reviews were mostly excellent.) Green doesn’t do a hatchet job but a well-considered appraisal of what he dislikes about both the show itself and this production.
