“Charlie Wilson”‘s First Semi-Rave
Variety’s Todd McCarthy likes it, he really really likes it. “It” is “Charlie Wilson’s War.” While McCarthy thoroughly enjoyed the movie, he questions its potential to be boffo box office. Here’s hoping it is: the sophisticated, witty comedy-drama with big fat movie stars is an endangered species.
