“American Idol” contestants lyp-synching? Anyone who professes to be shocked by this revelation is as gullible as Gomer Pyle. One of the many reasons I rarely watch “Idol” is because the high-tech packaging of the performances, even when the contestants are singing, too often devours the display of talent.
