“Golden Girls” Goes To Turkey
I’ll admit it at the risk of relinquishing my social life: one of my all-time guilty pleasures is “The Golden Girls.” But I’m not sure that my enthusiasm would carry over into the show being turned into a Turkish version, which has just been announced. On the other hand, seeing “Tootsie” dubbed in Japanese was one of the great treats of my life, so why not Blanche, Sophia, and company in Turkish?
