Cook To Star in “iSondheim”?
The “new” Stephen Sondheim show, “iSondheim,” which was scrapped this spring from its world premiere in Atlanta, may find life next season at the Roundabout, in New York, and possibly starring Barbara Cook (pictured). This would go some distance toward the Roundabout repairing its relationship with James Lapine, whose semi-announced production of Sondheim’s “Merrily We Roll Along” was recently removed from the Roundabout’s plans, and who is “iSondheim”‘s director.
