I haven’t made up my mind whether I want to see Kim Cattrall — the man-eating Samantha in “Sex and the City” — onstage in Noel Coward’s “Private Lives.” On the one hand, Kim’s a trained actress who’s given quite a few estimable perfs in the flesh. On the other hand, can anyone at this point watch her in anything and not think: “Samantha”? The curse of being identified with a single role!
