Remakes: Not So Bad After All?

truegritMV5BMjIxNjAzODQ0N15BMl5BanBnXkFtZTcwODY2MjMyNA@@._V1._SX214_CR0,0,214,314_Whenever a remake is released at the cinema it is usually followed by loud whispers that it’s not as good as the original, or that it is preposterous to remake a movie, especially when it is so easy to see the original on DVD. There’s also a commonly held belief that remakes are proof that Hollywood has run out of ideas.
