Doff-Broadway: Daenerys Goes Naked
Emilia Clarke, who plays Daenerys on “Game of Thrones,” is currently on Broadway playing the Audrey Hepburn role in Truman Capote’s “Breakfast at Tiffany’s.” Miss Clarke has a nude scene stepping into the bath. The director of this production, Sean Mathias, seems to like this device: when Jude Law was introduced to American audiences years ago in Cocteau’s “Indiscretions,” on Broadway in a Mathias production, Jude got out of the bath naked.
