Adam Guettel Update
Adam Guettel (pictured) is the finest American musical theatre composer of his generation. He is also, LemonWade can report, a recently married man. What’s more, he is reportedly working on a new project having to do with American writer Washington Irving (1783-1859). I don’t know if this is based on Irving’s life or on one of his works — “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow,” “Rip Van Winkle.” I’ll pass along more on Guettel as appropriate.
