Once Again, “Dancing” Sucks
I happened to be at a party last night where the finale of “Dancing with the Stars” was playing. This isn’t a show I usually watch. Why? Because the best dancers rarely win the competition. And so it proved again last night, when Shawn Johnson and Mark Ballas (pictured) took the trophy. Little butterball Shawn isn’t fit to hold the tap shoes of Gilles Marini, the runner-up. But, as I said, this program has never been entirely about the dancing. Like every other reality show, it’s political. My favorite contestant was Lil’ Kim.
