Melissa McCarthy On A Roll
It’s nice that American pop culture right now is making room for a plus-size gal. But you’ll notice that the dinner table only accommodates one woman over size 6. Even though the average American woman is essentially the size of Melissa McCarthy — the one I’m talking ’bout — and not the size of Blake Lively. McCarthy just won an Emmy for “Mike and Molly” and may score an Oscar nom for “Bridesmaids.” Not bad for a Catholic-school girl from Illinois.
