2016: Best TV So Far
The Guardian’s list-maker is a little bit of a wanker: just about everything made this list. Most of the choices are defensible, although I still can’t bring myself to watch “Happy Valley” and I found “War and Peace” sometimes a slog. (The Tolstoy adaptation was much more buzzed-about in Britain.) “Better Call Saul” is probably my favorite on the list, followed by “The Night Manager.”
