“Moonlight” Is Getting Buzz
Barry Jenkins’ movie “Moonlight,” written by Tarell Alvin McCraney, is being praised by those few who’ve seen it in advance of its festival screenings at Toronto, Telluride, and New York. The trailer is oblique but the story involves a gay young man and how he’s bullied and not accepted by his peers and (it seems) parents. I’ve been a fan of McCraney’s plays so I’m looking forward to the movie.
