Even Barbara Cook Was There!
Yesterday, “South Pacific” concluded its two-and-a-half-year run on Broadway at Lincoln Center Theater’s Vivian Beaumont Theater. (Photos of the closing performance here; Kelli O’Hara and Barbara Cook are above.) I have written so extensively about the production for LCT’s website that I honestly have nothing left to add except: it was a joy and a privilege to be associated with this show. I’m not lying when I say that everyone involved was wonderful; no Eve Harringtons in this bunch. They would have been drummed right out of the roll call real fast!
